Cancellations and Appointment Policies
Reservations are subject to availability and must be guaranteed with a credit card. Please note that once an appointment is booked we’ll be expecting you. Since treatment times are reserved especially for you, changes or cancellations must be made 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment time. Reservations cancelled without the benefit of a 24-hour notice will incur a charge of 50% of the service cost. No Show reservations will be charged the full amount of the appointment booked. Charges will be made to the card on file.
Peaceful and Safe Environment Policy
In consideration of our team and other guests, please put mobile devises on silent mode, and do not engage on phone conversations when in any of our common areas. Our salon is a beautiful place, but there are many sharp and hot tools that can pose a danger to unsupervised children.
Children (under 12) are only allowed in the treatment areas while they are receiving services and must be accompanied and supervised by an adult at all times.
It is important to us that you are happy with your services and your returning for upkeep and continuing treatment is our goal for you. Your stylist or manicurist will make recommendations for your return date, and this will be based on the expiration date of your service (i.e. root or nail regrowth,) or the goal that the two of you have set for your style or wellness journey.
If you find that you are not satisfied with a service and would like to come in before your next reservation, we ask that you return within 1 week of a hair cut or nail service, and 2 weeks of any chemical service. We do not offer refunds on services, but we are happy for the opportunity to see you again and make necessary adjustments.
We desire that you receive the full benefit of our services, and this may include a home care routine. As part of your treatment experience your Service Provider will give you professional product recommendations and application tips. We are committed to providing you with customized product guidance for all your skin, hair, and make-up needs.
Your Future Reservation
Before the end of your visit, your Service Provider will provide you with a recommended date for your next reservation. This date will depend on your goals and needs, and the day and time that work best with your schedule. While we cannot guarantee that the service provider that you desire will be available for day of or short notice requests, we are committed to having qualified staff on hand should your scheduling needs require you to book with a different member of our Team.

You are always welcome to try out different talent on the Uptown Team! We are not cookie cutter, and one size does not fit all. Feel free to try the perspective at a different hair chair, nail station, or treatment room. We love to try new things too!
About Our Level Pricing
At Uptown we believe in total price transparency and take pride in coordinating hair care services that match each guest with the best fit stylist for their hair care needs and their beauty budget.
We provide our guests with Level Pricing. The level of each Service Provider is based on their demand of time. Inquire with a Guest Service Expert for each Service Provider’s current level, and the pricing associated with that level.
Educators and Associates
Our company is committed to educating and equipping the next generation of our licensed Salon and Spa team. You may observe 2 stylists working on 1 guest. This celebrity experience for the guest is also an amazing opportunity for our experienced stylists to impart their knowledge and expertise to the associate. We are providing these licensed Cosmetologists with the equivalent of a master’s degree in hair, preparing them for a full and satisfying career in our industry. Associates will apply color and lightener, shampoo, style, and provide many other services under the direction of the educator.
